Frequently Asked Questions- Carolina Beach Fishing Charter

No personal fishing license is required- the boat's license will cover you.

The US Coast Guard allows a maximum of 6 passengers. For parties of 6+ we are happy to coordinate a multi-boat trip with another charter captain- please call for more details.

Yes, it is customary to tip your charter mate.  They do everything from rigging, baiting, cleaning the boat and getting everything ready for a day of fishing- they definitely work hard! The standard tip is 20%+ of the charter price.

You can keep any fish within the legal limit! Our mate is happy to clean and bag your catch for an additional charge.
